Soon Corporate Services (Soon) became Cheng & Co’s first member firm to organise our Budget 2017 Seminar, and it was the first time a seminar of this nature took place in a rural area – in the Alor Gajah district in Malacca. This is indeed a progressive move as these locations are not always on the priority list of many organisations and exposure of this type will certainly equip more professionals in non-urban areas to face the realities of the changing economy.
Several specialists from Cheng & Co were present to speak at the seminar, held on 8 November, and gave participants a thorough understanding on what the 2017 budget has in in store for their businesses. Important talks and updates were also provided on the Malaysian Private Entities Reporting Standard (MPERS), New Companies Act 2016, GST Box, Global Business Services and ACC365.
The seminar was a proud achievement for Soon with many of their clients appreciating their efforts to empower non-urban business communities.
