On 7th June 2020, our Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has announced the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) from 10th June – 31st August 2020. Under this phase of RMCO, all economic sectors can start to operate except for some prohibited activities.
The key highlights as follow:
- Interstate travel is allowed effective 10 June 2020, except to and fro Enhance Movement Control Order (EMCO). Malaysian are to remind in practicing the new normal – social distancing, wash hand frequently, always bring a hand sanitizer, & wear a mask.
- Almost all social, education, religious, business activities and the economic sector will start to operate completely by following the SOP set by Government.
- Businesses can operate according to the usual business hours.
- Despite this, certain activities such as rallies, open house & any other activity that involves the presence of a crowd of people in one place are not allowed.
