Mr. Liew Ooi Hann (Founder & CEO, Halogen Capital)

Hann is a fund manager and fintech entrepreneur. He is the founder and CEO of Halogen Capital, the first licensed digital asset fund manager in Malaysia, and previously Jirnexu, the holding company of RinggitPlus, Malaysia’s top financial product comparison service provider.

Recognizing a need for greater financial literacy in Malaysia, he co-founded what eventually became known as Jirnexu, the group holding company and operator of RinggitPlus.com. From founding the company and leading it as CEO until he stepped back from day-to-day operations in 2022, he has helped RinggitPlus grow to a massive 1.5 million customer base with an annual recurring revenue of RM 50 Million and growing.

Additionally, throughout his many years as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Hann has helped thousands of Malaysians grow their wealth through traditional assets and more recently, digital assets.

Witnessing the rapid adoption of cryptocurrencies himself, he started Halogen Capital in 2022, with the mission to provide institutional and private investors with regulated access to crypto assets and tokens as well as innovative investment solutions.

As Malaysia’s first licensed digital asset fund manager, Halogen Capital has launched many innovative products including the world’s first Shariah-compliant cryptocurrency mutual fund, the Halogen Shariah Bitcoin Fund.
