Cheng & Co’s Pandan Indah Partner / Branch Manager Mr Ng Kee Siang recently delivered presentations in Shenzhen and Guangzhou, China, at an event organised by Malaysia International Commerce, Culture & Arts Facilitation Association, Starcity Property Group and Cheng & Co. The Shenzhen event was held at FuHui 100 years Vegetarian Restaurant while Crowne Plaza Guangzhou City Centre Hotel was the venue for the Guangzhou talk.
The talk sessions, held on 28 June 2017 (Shenzhen) and 29 June 2017 (Guangzhou), was attended by almost 80 participants from China, mainly made up of potential clients, seeking greater insights and ideas on investing in Malaysia, in conjunction with China’s “One-Belt-One-Road” project.
Mr Ng’s topic touched on the opportunities and prospects of investing in Malaysia and the introduction of company incorporation. There were also other speakers from Starcity and Cheng & Co who spoke on subjects such as:
- The introduction of “One-Belt-One-Road” and its greater impact on business prospects in Malaysia
- How to obtain the “Malaysia 2nd Home” status
- The future of your kids’ education
- Importing to and Exporting from Malaysia
- Migration to Malaysia
- Financial Planning
Overall, the session served to enlighten the Chinese guests on the benefits of Malaysia as an impressive destination to do business and enhanced Cheng & Co’s reputation as a one-stop professional centre providing innovative business solutions for all its clients.
